After a career in law, I started transitioning to become a secondary school social studies educator in 2005.  I have now been teaching professionally in private schools for 15 years.  I have taught at the high school and the middle school levels.  My current courses include US history 1 for 7th grade (pre-Colombia to Civil War), US history 2 for 8th grade (Reconstruction to 1970), and world history (origins of humans to Renaissance) for 6th grade, as well as ELA for 8th graders.  Past courses taught include AP US government & politics, AP US history, US history, US government, law, world history.
